About Temple

The Siddhi Vinayak Mandir is a non-profit religious institution incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia.

The Mandir was conceptualized and started by Pdt Gyan Prakash Upadhyay in February 2015. Pundit Gyan Prakash Upadhyay is an ardent believer in Shri Siddhi Vinayak bhagwan.

After having worked in the religious institutions here in USA and India for over 25 years, doing all kinds of Poojas, Sanskars, Katha, Vastu and Jyotish consulting, he decided to take on bigger responsibility on himself.

Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the giver of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rituals and ceremonies.

The purpose of Siddhi Vinayak Mandir is to serve the religious needs of all the devotees of Sanatan Hindu Dharm and support community activities for the young adults, women and senior citizens as it relates to Hindu Religion, Indian languages, art, music and dance.

With tremendous encouragement and support from devotees, in short time we have been able to establish the Mandir in a central location (Global Mall) and provide all sorts of Hindu Pooja, Sanskar, Astrolocal and Vastu consulting, Jap and Katha services.
